Meet the Coach
Hi, my name's Phil Giangrande. My journey begins in the heart of Los Angeles. Fifteen years ago when I worked in the radio industry, I didn’t know it at the time but it would ultimately become my lifelong career.
I was a musician dedicated to recording my music and performing around the world, but John Lennon was right - "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans".
I remember it like it was yesterday, I was handed a microphone by one of the hosts and eventually helped out as a producer and sidekick. My love for talk radio was born, I was well and truly hooked. I was infatuated with learning everything I could about this newfound industry. Taking everything I learnt with me, I spent many years coaching business owners and helping them to become phenomenal hosts.
Then, as life usually does, things changed. The way we choose to absorb information evolved and podcasting became a thing. You could now be at the gym, at work or in bed and listen to a lengthy interview from start to finish. This new platform meant that any limitations in place before with talk radio, had gone. The possibilities were endless. I realised early on that the passion and drive about podcasting, was the same as when I discovered talk radio for the first time.
Over the course of my career in podcasting, I've learned what works and what really doesn't. It is now my mission to teach you what I know.
